My journey began as I delved into the recesses of my past when I began the research for a my memoir in progress titled: Unbroken: One Daughter's Journey. The act of writing my story helped me to heal.
I grew up in Los Angeles, California and moved to New York to attend college and become a stage actress (another story for another time). I now live in a small town in Pennsylvania with my son. I received my MFA in writing from Vermont College of Fine Arts, and and have taught creative writing at The New School University in New York City, among other educational institutes, and am a board certified coach (BCC) and facilitate a writing workshops for women touched by domestic abuse.
